12,667 was the total number of used passenger vehicles imported into New Zealand in the month of June, a 12.5% drop compared to the previous month.

Used car imports reach a nine month high with a total of 14,797 units imported into New Zealand in March. This is an increase of 31% compared to used car imports in March 2014 (11,254 units) and is also the highest since May 2014, where the total reached 16,450.
The total number of used car imports into New Zealand for February reached 9995, down by 160 from the previous month.
2015 is predicted to follow the same positive demand for used cars imported into New Zealand. This year began strongly, with a total of 10,155 used cars imported in January. This is a 15.2% increase over last years January statitics, which totaled 8813 used car imports into New Zealand.
As predicted in last months instalment, used passenger vehicle imports surpassed the 130,00-unit mark. In total 137601 vechicles crossed the border into New Zealand, a 28% increase on 2013's total of 107,284 units.
